Happy Halloween

Tonight we took Eliza around my mom's neighborhood to visit some neighbors and her daycare provider, Annemarie. We had to take her out pretty early (around 5:45ish) and it was a ghost town. She didn't get to see much action at all as far as any kids trick or treating. All dressed up and nowhere to go, nobody to see. At some moments she looked quite bored in her wagon. Still, she was the cutest fish I have ever seen. She ended going to bed about an hour past her normal bedtime. We shall see what tonight will bring.

Today was another beautiful fall day. Andy and I took her for a walk in her wagon to get some more use out of it before it becomes way too cold.

We sat outside the other day after work since it was sort of nice out, and Eliza enjoyed finding leaves and playing with them.

At The Pumpkin Patch

We took Eliza to the pumpkin patch about 2 weeks ago. She loved it. We went to Bog Hollow farm. She loved the hayride and seeing the animals. We let her just "crawl" loose all over the place and she had a blast. Here are a few pictures of the day.

She's one

Well I have not updated this blog in months since I started back to work. I stink. I really want to get better at this. Anyway, Eliza is now one. The past year flew by. She celebrated her birthday at her grampy and grammy's house on 9/29 and it was a great day. Her theme was a "barnyard bash". She was great the whole day and loved trying cake for the first time. She got lots of nice gifts and I am still working on those thank you cards... :)

Now that Eliza is one, things are so much more different. She is drinking whole milk, trying to walk, and saying some words. Some of her regular words are- apple, ball, doggie, baby, Wow, mama, dada, no way, and cow. She recently started saying wagon since we got her a new wagon for her birthday and also, paper. She will repeat just about every word we say, but then some of them we never hear again! She isn't walking on her own yet, but will take 2-3 steps at a time before falling.
